Dr Christine Kim

Dr. Christine ( aka Sheltie Michael's mom ) is very happy to be the family veterinarian for your furry companions

She graduated in 2008 and has been working in small animal practices since. She has solid experience in both South Korea and Canada including emergency hospitals. During over a decade of experience in small animal practices in Canada, she has spent many long hours to extend her medical skills.

After working on Vancouver Island for 3 years, she moved to North Vancouver and has been calling it her sweet home ever since.
On her days off, she likes hiking with her furry boy Michael. She also likes spending time at a patio as well so don't be shy when you meet her outside.

As a general practitioner, she has kept up to date with advanced surgical and dental procedures to give her patients high quality care. But most importantly Christine is fun and easy to talk to with a sense of humor so you will feel at ease and free to discuss and issue that comes up.

Dr Natalia Osorio

Dr Natalia Orosio

Dr. Osorio brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice, with a particular talent in feline medicine. A 2008 veterinary graduate, she has built a strong foundation of experience working in both Brazil and Canada.

After spending two years caring for pets in Port Moody, she made the move to North Vancouver to join WPVC—and to reunite with her longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Christine.

Dr. Osorio has a special interest in geriatric care and pain management. Her passion for helping pets live more comfortable lives has led her to pursue advanced training in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic care, allowing her to offer more integrative treatment options for her patients.

At home, she shares her life with two beloved cats, Izzy and April—along with their inevitable trail of fur. When she's not brushing cat hair off the furniture, she enjoys getting creative in the kitchen and trying out new recipes.

"Originally from Richmond, BC, Dr. Jessica developed a deep-seated passion for veterinary medicine from a young age. She embarked on her veterinary journey at Ross University, where she earned her degree. Since then, Dr. Jessica has devoted herself to the health and wellness of animals, spending several years in Vancouver before making her new home on the North Shore.

With a keen interest in preventative care, Dr. Jessica places a special emphasis on senior wellness and effective pain management. Her commitment to offering comprehensive care is underscored by her certification in veterinary acupuncture, allowing her to provide an integrative approach to patient health.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Jessica embraces adventure and the great outdoors. Whether it's traveling to new places, hiking, scuba diving, playing tennis, or cross-country skiing, she finds joy in active pursuits. She cherishes these moments especially when shared with her husband, Mauro, their two sons, Elijah and Lucas, and Yoshi, their spirited schnoodle."

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Dr. Abbey Sewell has had a love for animals for as long as she can remember. Her passion for animal care began early, volunteering with the local SPCA throughout her youth and solidifying her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Abbey graduated from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine and has gained valuable experience in both emergency medicine and small animal general practice. She is thrilled to be back on the North Shore, giving back to the community and animals that inspired her journey.

Her goal as a veterinarian is to provide every patient with exceptional, compassionate care while building trusting relationships with both pets and their families. She strives to ensure that every visit is as comfortable and positive as possible—because she believes vet visits should be something pets can actually enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Abbey exploring the outdoors with her rescue dog, Maisie, or curled up on the couch with Mr. Pickle, her one-eared tuxedo cat.
